News regarding Monolithe III (and what Interlude Second actually is)

MONOLITHE will start recording its new album “Monolithe III” on March 2012, 10th.

The first step is the recording of all guitars and bass.

A release date has not been scheduled yet for this new album but a late 2012/early 2013 release could be expected.

Now some disambiguation about “Interlude Second” & “Monolithe III”

Shortly after the release of “Interlude Premier EP” back in 2007, the band started to work on a new full-length album that was supposed to become “Monolithe III”. This album was also supposed to be released in 2008 via Appease Me…/Candlelight Records.

For many reasons (including problems unsolved with Candlelight, mixing troubles, …) the album did not got completed and released. The album had a cover artwork ready and exposed via Internet (which won’t be used).

In 2011, MONOLITHE decided to re-use & complete what has been recorded for the unfinished “Monolithe III’ album and release it as a new EP. That’s how it became 2012’s “Interlude Second”, consisting in the tracks “Harmony Of Null Matter” - Section 1 & 2.

These things said, it becomes obvious that next MONOLITHE album “Monolithe III” is a brand new composition and not what has been announced in 2008.

Whereas both EPs lean toward experimentation, M3 is a continuation of what has been done with the “Monolithe I” and “Monolithe II” albums.
