Both MONOLITHE’s 2012 releases, “Interlude Second EP” and “Monolithe III” have been nominated by the Metal Storm Awards 2012 in the “best extreme doom metal album” category.
If you feel those albums deserve your vote, please give your voice to MONOLITHE here :
The complete ANTHEMON (Sylvain’s previous band) back catalogue is now digitally available on Bandcamp in CD QUALITY for a very, ‘ery ‘umble price.
Alongside with these old records, the band decided to share the pre-production demos of its uncompleted and unreleased last album “ALOÏS”. Originally recorded between 2005 and 2007, these demos are very raw sounding, feature no vocals, but may perhaps interest a few people?
“The Aloïs Demos” (2013) - Demo compilation - 1 euro
“Kadavreski” (2005) - Full-length - 2 euros
“Dystopia” (2004) - Full-length - 2 euros
“Arcanes” (2003) - Full-length - 2 euros
“Talvi” - (2000) EP - 1.5 euros
”
“Nocturnal Contemplations” (1998) - Demo - 1 euro

MONOLITHE IV to be recorded in winter/spring 2013.
The follow-up album to 2012’s Interlude Second EP and Monolithe III is set for a mid-winter/spring 2013 recording. This album, called Monolithe IV, is the last installment of the musical saga developped by the band since its debut album, 2003’s Monolithe I. Expect a late 2013 release.

A few press quotes:
[Time For Metal]• “Monolithe III” ist düster, langlebig, verträumt, und anders. [Disctopia]• This is so more compelling than anything they’ve done before; it explores so many more emotions and feelings that you have to acknowledge the band has reached a new level in excellence. Such an inspirational work is worthy of your time and money, believe me. [Metalship]• Monolithe III has the most fitting name imaginable – it’s a monolithic triumph on all possible fronts.(…).If you have a better contender for album of the year, I’d like to hear it, because this album is beyond measure. [Angry Metal Guy]• Set aside an hour and give “III” a go, and you’ll find one of doom’s more adventurous releases of the year. [Rock Hard]• Monolithe III is a fifty-two minute joyride through different emotions, tempos and instrumental breaks (…) MONOLITHE’s ability to break free from the standard mold of what Funeral Doom is, is their biggest asset. If you have a decent attention span, then you should check this [Metal Observer]• Extreme doom often feels beaten to death. With III, Monolithe shock it back to life. [Chronicles Of Chaos]• This record is a massive 52 minutes in length, and yet there is never a dull moment. The flow is extraordinary, riffs twisting and bending, melting into one another with just the right amount of friction or smoothness. Monolithe III is something extraordinary. [Heavy Metal About]• Set aside an hour and give “III” a go, and you’ll find one of doom’s more adventurous releases of the year. [Metal Maniacs]• If you can’t take doom any further then add some new genre elements and that’s what Monolithe does very effectively. Adding soaring solo melodies akin to Evoken and Esoteric they create an atmosphere that is crushing yet visualizing (…) This is highly recommended for any doom metal fan. [Sputnik Music]• I highly recommend Monolithe III to you, it’s an invitation to a space trip you shouldn’t miss out.
